We have now attended two shows at the Caterpillar Performing Arts Theater in Washington, IL featuring the Conklin Dinner Theater players and find the theater to be quite nice with roomy and comfortable seating. It isn’t too far or too expensive and offers great Sunday entertainment. We leave at 11:15 a.m. so you can still get to church now! They will offer a Christmas Show, the “Gift of Christmas” on December 3. Join us!
There have been three cancellations for the Canadian Rockies/Glacier National Park trip,
August 24-31 and final payment is quickly approaching. Call if you are interested. One lady possibly will take a roommate. See article inside for further details. Also, there’s still room for Discover Scotland, October 1-10, and one lady is looking for a roommate on that trip as well.
The January 18-28 cruise/tour next year is sold out with several on the wait list. It cruises the Mexican Riviera with a pre-night on the “Queen Mary” in Long Beach, California, a 7-night cruise on the beautiful “Ruby Princess” and includes a post night with additional sightseeing in Los Angeles. See the April 18 article inside.
Fireside shows continue to fill quickly. Next year’s shows have all been released, and we are booked in our usual great seats. Due to an increase in bus and theater pricing, however, there has been a modest increase, but it’s still a good price for a full day of great theater and food.
Our next newsletter will announce two trips for 2018 to Charming French Canada in July featuring three Fairmont hotels--Chateau Frontenac, Le Manoir Richelieu, and Le Chabeau Montebello, and a bus trip to the Biltmore Estate, Charleston and Savannah in the fall. Watch also for information about Jim McDonough’s Christmas concert yet this year and a bus trip in the spring to the Creation Museum and the lifesize Noah’s Ark.
If you’re not on our mailing list, please give us your name and address or email address or check out our website at www.classictravelsllc.com at your convenience. Be sure to notice the date listed above so you’ll know you’re getting the latest newsletter. I will be updating whenever we have changes. Watch for the latest news.
God bless you and your families and as always, God Bless America. Happy 4th of July to all, and have a great summer!
