“The Addams Family,” at the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Ft. Atkinson, WI

They’re creepy and they’re kooky, mysterious and spooky, they’re all together ooky, The Addams family! In 1938 cartoonist Charles Addams created a cartoon about a ghoulish American Family with an affinity for all things macabre. The Addams Family has also appeared in a hit TV series, a couple of wildly popular movies, video games, comic books, and, in 2009 as a Broadway Musical. Now they’ve made their way to the Fireside stage. THE ADDAMS FAMILY is a tuneful, hilarious, warm-hearted show about everybody’s favorite off-beat family. Filled with music, exciting dancing, and a charming love story, it’s a fun-filled romp that will leave you laughing all the way home. When she wins a spot on a popular TV dance show she is transformed from outsider to teen celebrity. She must use her new found power to defeat the evil plans of teen princess Amber Van Tussle, win the affections of heartthrob Lin Larkin, and integrate a TV network. When Elsa uses her magical powers to trap their kingdom in perpetual winter, Anna joins forces with Kristoff and his reindeer sidekick to find Elsa and break her ice spell. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and THE LION KING, FROZEN captured the hearts of theatregoers from all corners of the world, playing to sold out houses with its touching story of family and love. Tony Award winning musical that was born out of the tragedy of September 11, 2001. In the remarkable true story of Come From Away, what started as an average morning in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland turned into an international sleepover, when 38 planes carrying 7,000 people from around the globe were diverted to their airstrip. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we are all part of a global family. Experience this joyous story with a dynamic score and a vibrant, fast paced narrative.
